In this post, Guillermina Basso and Leonardo Leão reflect on what the 2010 experience meant in their personal and professional lives.
GUILLERMINA BARTOLOMEI BASSO
Experience
It was a dream location, and living with 70 other students
Participating in the program in 2010 was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Not only did I get to know many new people and places, but it also allowed me to forge wonderful friendships with people from other countries that continue to this day. It was a dream location, and living with 70 other students made those months an infinite adventure and created memories that still last to this day.
Today
I am an accountant, I run my own office, and I am also a university professor.
Life Now
I don't have a kid, but I do have a long-time partner and a dog.
LEONARDO LEÃO
A separate 2010 story shaped by travel, language, and the experience of understanding other markets.
Experience
I was able to improve my English and, most importantly, understand the dynamics of other markets to bring that knowledge to my business.
The working and traveling experience was very important to me because it gave me the opportunity to experience other cultures and people from various parts of the world. I was able to improve my English and, most importantly, understand the dynamics of other markets to bring that knowledge to my business.
Today
I am a bar franchise entrepreneur at Agrobar.
